balloon fish?

I dont know if you've read the other thread i posted. But now i am noticing that the other goldfish i have. Seems to float up to the surface very quickly unless he is actively swimming. As soon as he does so less vigorously/stops all together he begins to float/hits the surface. Is this normal? Is he sick?

he may have swim bladder.

i found this common in my gold fish for while, so i started soaking their flake food before feeding so it sinks and they don't gulp air when eating.

i havn't had any since.

you might wanna try feeding some peeled thawed peas cut into bits.

Yeah, but even when not feeding, everytime he floats up to the surface, he gulps more air. Maybe thats making it worse.

gulping air at the surface when not feeding usually means something wrong with your water parameters. have you checked the water?
