Pregnant Goldfish?

I just bought two goldfish from my LFS. I already have one 'streamline' gold fish. But I bought one of the slower goldfish that seem to have more fins and such. One of the two new ones, seems to have a swollen stomach, which leads me to believe its pregnant. However, its barely 2 inches in length, so can it even be mature enough? The other goldfish, of the same species chases it around pretty often. So is it pregnant??

I would say yes. Pictures would help ! Just keep wathching her stomach. You may be expecting some fry

Goldfish are egg layers. They do not get pregnant, but rather get gravid with eggs.

At 2 inches it is doubtful that it is a sexually mature goldfish.

Your fishie is most likely not pregnant. That is the normal body shape/size for the ones I call weeble fish (weebles wobble but they don't fall down, yes, I am that old...) If the other is chasing it, there are several options...a male will chase a female that is "in heat", One is a bully chasing the other, Or most likely, they are playing tag. My goldfish play tag all the time. There will be 7 or 8 of them all chasing each other all around the pond. They seem to take turns as to who is chasing whom.
