I have two 20 gallon tanks both with
goldfish. One is upstairs and one downstairs. I am having new flooring installed upstairs so I need to tear down and move the upstairs tank. I was thinking of putting the goldfish into the tank that is downstairs for a few days. I know the water temp downstairs is a few degrees colder than the one upstairs but if I
acclimate the fish slowly should they be okay going into that tank?
I will get a few buckets and try to save as much water from the tank as I can and should I let the bio wheel float in the bucket of tank water? Any other suggestions? I hope to do this without losing any of my fish.
Thanks,
Lisa
