Hello

I have a baby goldfish and was just wondering if they get lonely as he is all on his own, he doesn't seem to mind being on his own but I was just wondering if anyone has any information or proof on this subject.

I don't think so. You give him attention during feedings etc... right?!, so that is the attention they like. Ours just love it when we stand there an make fools of ourselves talking to them! lol

I doubt they have enough brain function to recognise what lonely is.

Thats what i thought but just wanted someone else to confirm. His tank is in the kitchen (no way near the oven) and he gets a lot of attention, plus there are always things being placed (or should i say dumped) near his tank and there is a constant flow of traffic walking past so he gets to see a lot of activity.
