My neon tetras are very small and my glowlight's are bigger than they are.
The glowlights will school with the neons often, but will also just school together at times.
It may be on & off because of the size, but even with the size difference they do school together often.
Just letting you know.

That sounds like my glowlights and my black neons. They school together but not all the time. As long as they don't start fighting (which they probably won't) then they should be fine. And your 20 gallon should be fine with that amount of fish as long as you stay ontop of water changes.

I've got four Neons and four Glowlights, they do hang around together, but they don't school as such, just generally in the same area.
