glowlight shoaling

Hey, I have 7 glowlights and at first they all seemed to schoal together. Now there are 2 distinct groups. The groups are sorted by the size though. To elaborate, the three biggest seem to stick together and the four that are a little smaller do the same. They will pass each other and do not disturb each other and occasionally they will all move around together, especially during feeding, but this just seemed odd to me and I really like it when they are all together in a group (it looks so cool that way). Any thoughts?

My Pristellas tend to do the same thing. I have one large one who is about 2 1/2-3 years old and five younger ones (about half his size.) Most of the younger ones won't hang out with the bigger one, except the smallest one, who shadows the oldest one constantly. Much to his annoyance.

Did you add all of your glo lights at the same time or seperately?? I had the same thing going on but I think it was because I bought five, lost two, and then I always wanted to make sure there was at least a school of five, I bought three more. The ones I added first hang out together and then ones that came after have thier own little group.
