amano shrimp / ghost shrimp

are these the same thing or 2 totally dif species?.....just wondering!!!

Totally different. Amano's are Algae Eating shrimp and are different in color. The ghosts are see-thru and don't eat algae, or very little. Brianna

do amanos just eat algae or do they eat other stuff too. and do ghost shrimp help clean the tank...eat all those extra little bits that land on the gravel.. and arnt amano shrimp really pretty looking!

Ghost shrimp will eat algae, waste and leftover food....
