I have a single ghostie, the sole survivor of the three I originally bought. He's called Papa shrimp, cause he's always been the biggest. He had a friend, called wee shrimp, who randomly disappeared some time ago... still haven't found out what happened to him. There was also another shrimp in with the late great Temeraire, but I had to go away for a long weekend and Temeraire decided he'd feed himself if I was not going to xD

At any rate, Papa Shrimp is so amusing at times. He's generally peaceful, and minds his own shrimpy business. However, he'll occasionally chase the fish away from a morsel of food (waving his little arms about frantically) and likes to swim to the top like the fish to grab at bloodworms. He is also meticulous about cleaning algae off of the roots of the jungle val in the tank.

I also had ghost shrimp and they are way cool. I mistakenly feed them sinking shrimp pellets that had cooper in it and they died off. I am considering getting some more. What do you feed Papa?

I casually mentioned ghost shrimp to my husband the other day, thinking I could get a few for my tank. His response: Ugh, I hate shrimp and seahorses.

What Who hates seahorses? And shrimp? Why?

Lol, who does hate seahorses? I can almost understand shrimp, 'cause they're odd-looking, but seahorses?

I feed papa shrimp sinking algae wafers, but he mainly eats things he finds in the tank. He will swim up to the top to get a bloodworm, though, he loves 'em.
