Good morning Gouramiguy17. I don't have personal experience with the shrimp but I'm sure someone will help you out soon.

I don't know either, but why risk it? Ghost shrimp are much larger than cherry shrimp. If you keep cherry shrimp alone in the right conditions, they will breed a ton. You may even be able to make a little extra cash selling shrimp to the LFS or other hobbyists.

'Ghost' Shrimp is a generic name that covers a lot of species of freshwater shrimp. Some of which will attack smaller shrimp if given the opportunity. Remember, all shrimp are scavengers and will feed on whatever is available to them. I would just go with the colony of RCS and not risk adding the ghost shrimp that could potentially eat the smaller RCS's.

How is your RCS colony doing? I just started mine yesterday with 6 RCS and I'm really excited about it!

it is doing well, it is so cute to turn on the lights when all the fish are sleeping and seeing 2 or 3 baby rcs scurrying around on the back wall
