Breeding ghost shrimp

I have a few questions about ghost shrimp:

If I set up a 10 gallon to breed them for my puffers, how much salt would I need to put in there?

Would I need a filter and heater?

How many is the max for a 10 gallon?

OK, I looked at the ghost shrimp profile and it appears that ghost shrimp can be kept at temps as low as 65 degrees so I guess I don't need a heater - but what about a filter?

I keep them as pets but i would suggest that you get some snails for the puffers, what kind do you have. It my be because i don't like snail but i do like shrimp, they are really cool to watch ghost shrimp don't need salt, they don't need a heater since they survive in ponds but filtration or air stone is good and java moss helps them breed.

If the tank is planted, you can have a ton - I have a heavily planted 10gal, and ghost, cherry, and amano shrimp combined, I've probably got around 30.

Also, ghosties don't need salt water to breed.
