I just picked up a one gallon tank at a thrift store on a whim, it looks to be in pretty good shape, it came with an air stone and
UGF (which I'm replacing). So- I know that there really aren't any fish that can be kept in such a small tank, and I was thinking ghost shrimp. But, I was wondering how many I could keep in this tank. So this is what I was thinking, a well planted tank with sand for them to burrow in. I read on the fishlore profile that they can live in 65*F water, is that okay, or is a heater ideal? And I was thinking of feeding them a mix of shrimp pelets, algae pelets, and bloodworms.
Here are all my questions back to back-
1 Ghost shrimp, yes or no?
2 If yes, how many?
3 Do I need a heater? (my house is about 70*F all day)
4 Diet- shrimp/algae pelets and bloodworms, is that okay?
Thanks in advance
