Activity level

The first day we had our 4 ghost shrimp, they were really active, buzzing all over the place. Now that they seem to have claimed 'territory' they're much less so. I do see them, and they're definitely eating, so my first thought is they were (1) really hungry when we got them and (2) were looking for someplace to 'call home'.

I've never had shrimp before, so I wanted to make sure all is well. I think it is, but just checking

They were just looking for a place to provide them with cover and a sense of security. I ocassionally loose my shrimp for a days or even weeks only to see them turn up randomly one day. They are interesting little creatures.

Yeah - you'll find shrimp skins all over the place from now on. Freaks me out when I find them, I think my shrimp have died...
