Will Ghost Shrimp live together in a "cave" ?

Maybe.

My ghost shrimp seem to mark their own territories in the tank.

I have a PVC pipe that I cut in half, then used aquarium silicon to glue gravel that matched my aquarium's gravel. When I put it in the tank, my biggest female ghostie quickly claimed it for herself and chases anyone out who goes in.

I think it depends on how big the tube is... They're pretty territorial little buggers.

How big is the PVC (diameter) (length) and what is the brand name of the aquarium silicon ?

The pipe is 3 inches in diameter and I cut it in half so that it lays low. Mine's probably around 4 inches in length. Not big, but it's in a 10 gallon tank, so it fits pretty nicely.

I don't remember the brand name of the aquarium silicon. I did it a while ago and I had no other use for the stuff so I probably threw it away... It's pretty potent stuff... Strong smelling and I had to wear gloves to use it until it dried. I just put a layer of silicon and then patted the rocks into it. Looks pretty good, too!

Hope that helps!

All-Glass Aquarium makes a very good silicone that is aquarium safe. Just make sure and follow the directions and let it fully dry/cure before putting it in your tank. Should be available at your LFS (I don't remember if petco/smart carries it)

I have 2 ghost shrimp and yes they will. They both share this little cave underneath the driftwood in my 10 gallon tank and barely ever come out unless they sense food on the current. They don't fight or anything either.
