Tank size and shape for 20 shrimps?

Hello, everyone!
1. Can you give me advice, what tank size and shape will be good enough for comfortable living of 20 ghost shrimps?

They are now in 18 gal translucent container, bare bottom, with plants. I would like to set a good looking planted tank for them, and maybe add a few more shrimp (not the ghost) in future. BTW, which small shrimps are compatible with ghost shrimp?

I had seen a post here, that 5 gal for 20 ghost shrimps (mine are small) should be enough. But what is the optimum? As far as I can see, they prefer to keep at some distance from each other. Should it be the large floor tank, of high tank is suitable too, if aquascaping provides climbing surfaces, like plants in pots or wall of java moss?

I have empty:
- 5g hexagon tank (only plants will occupy half of volume),
- 20g XH - like 2 10g tanks placed on top of each other, but don't know what amount of light will be necessary for a wall of java moss,
- 12g Nano cube, again, if you can help with light for java moss.

I had seen 20g XH in the fish store - very impressive, few logs, low plants and all back wall is java moss, tied to bamboo. But it was for fish. Will it be acceptable for shrimp?

5g tank has the one advantage: it can fit almost anywhere in the house.

Your advice?

2. Also, if you don't mind, what amount of food should be given to each shrimp and how frequently?
Mine like the large green omnivorous pellets with garlic (Formula Two), but unlikely they are able to eat one during the day, and excess of food should be removed daily.
How to feed them to keep maintenance simple and the shrimps healthy?

3. What is the preferable temperature for the ghost shrimp? Mine now are at 76F, but I can adjust it.

4. The last: plural from shrimp - shrimps or shrimp?

Thank you.

I would use the 12gal nano cube or one of the 10 gals

Moss can grow in about any light, a nice 1 to 1.5 watts per gallon would open you to other low light plants as well.

anything suitable for fish is good for shrimp

if you have boiled lettuce they like that, fish flake food works, if you were to continue using pellets be sure they are eaten or removed because shrimp are sensitive to water quality.

A little higher of a water temp would make them more prone to reproduce (78ish)

Thank you!
One more question: is it true, that the java moss will eventually die, if kept for a months at temperature, higher than 76F? I had seen this somewhere on the web.
