Hi all of her eggs are gone on one of my prego ghost shrimp, she is in a community tank with some neon tetras. I was wondering where the babies hide do they float to the surface or burrow or hid on the live pants, i cant see them but they are see through and i have white rocks. I looked online and got mixed answers. Thanks for the info.

For a short time, they will settle on decor and into the substrate while they go through their planktonic stage. This can last anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days. After that, the smart ones will survive by hiding in anything they can find. The others will likely swim around and be eaten.
