I got my first ghost shrimp about 4 weeks ago. A week after that, I noticed 1 was carry green eggs. I was excited. But, weeks later, the eggs are still being carried by the mama shrimp. I was wondering how long to expect the baby shrimp.

Then this afternoon, I noticed most of the eggs were gone! I didn't see any larvae floating or crawling either. I have 5 ghost shrimp, 80 cherry shrimp, 2 corys and 2 platy fry in the tank. Would any of them have eaten the larvae? Would the mama shrimp had just got tired of them and dropped them? I'm really curious about what happened.
