To make a long story short; My mum and dad are getting money for letting construction people tear up their yard to improve the water flow in other peoples' yards when it rains. Apparently there was a serious flooding problem, and this underground pipe-thing is how they're solving it.
Well, the construction crews have been largely disruptive and messed multiple things up. They destroyed my neighbor's strawberry bushes (he's an avid fishkeeper himself) by dumping rubble where they weren't supposed to. They've also broken part of our fencing, and today they completely severed part of our waterline pipe, so at the moment we have no running water.
They aren't being supervised like they ought to be, and while the construction manager was mad about all the things that happened to us, he's not done much to prevent more.
I can't even drive out of my driveway to go back to the dorm (I'm on break and had to leave them for the week) and feed my fish :C |
