Oh my gosh?

Pink. Kissing. Gourami.

I had thought I saw a hairball! I was at WalMart this morning, and I saw 15 tanks of diseased fish. Out of the 15 tanks, 14 all had diseases in them, and the other tank I'd rather not say...

The Pink kissing gourami had soooooo much fungus on him, that I thought it was a hairball! All the kissing gouramis in the tank had fungus, ICH, and bloat. I'm serious. I thought there was a law about animal abuse. Why isn't anyone doing anything?

BTW out of around 300 fish, only one seemed healthy and it was an ugly betta. Sigh. (Not trying to be offensive, sorry)

That's really sad.
This would have been a good time to go to the store's manager and perhaps politely e-mail the company.

I agree. An email to Wal Mart would be good. I've emailed them myself in the past and within a few days I noticed changes in the tanks. It may not last for long but it's worth a shot.

Yeah if they are in a municipal area with any sort of animal control laws that might be an avenue to use as well. I worked five years in a municipal animal control in northeast indiana and anything selling live animals in the city limits had to have an annual inspection and if they looked like we wouldn't approve them. Walmart doesn't like having their license to sell fish revoked, they will typically fix it.
