Near perfect tank I may buy, opinions needed!

Hi guys!

Just been trawling Ebay, and I came across this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MakeTrack=true

For those who can't view this, it's a 5ft x 24 inch x 18 inch tank, with accessories included.

My main questions lie with the fish it contains in it: It also comes with the fish , a large severn 150mm plus , 2 silver dollars 100mm , 4 african chiliards , 2 bristle nose catfish 80-100mm , 4 clown loaches 60-100mm and a few others , they all get along great and dont fight or eat each other .

Are any of these fish unsuited to this tank? I am thinking waaaaay ahead here, but I would like to keep a few clown loaches in this tank if I do buy it (I see it already comes with a few). I have seen varied suggestions of tanks between 4-6 feet long. This is 5 foot, so right in the middle.

Oh, and this tank isn't too far from where I live either!

I am really incredibly hyper right now, despite the fact it's 12am here!

it sounds like a good buy...depending in how much it costs and how much you are willing to pay. as far as the fish, they seem to be a good match for the tank. How big are the clown loaces??because there have been some known to grow to about 12 inches!!

Clown loaches do get big but grow slowly I think I would really be careful stocking it with more fish to allow room for the loaches.

Thanks for the input, but they're removed the listing

I am shattered right now, that tank would have worked perfectly in the front room of my house! And I would have been fully prepared to pay that price. I was mostly worried about getting the fish (they come with the tank) and then having the stress of moving causing fights etc. I thought I'd have to the auction ends, forgetting that it can be taken off at anytime I would love a new tank, but I just can't afford a brand-spanker.

I think I might just go sulk for a while, then start trawling ebay again

Best of luck

Sorry you couldn't get the tank it would have been really cool and the fish would have gotten along great too. But maybe you'll find another great deal or you can just start saving money to buy a new tank
