| The Worst of Craigslist I came across THIS ad on my local Craigslist today and thought it would be interesting to see how many people come across such ads in their locale. After 11 years in the retail industry I am rarely amazed by things people say or do, but let's be real here! There has to be a point where even the most nonsensical person is able to look at something and realize.....maybe there's something wrong here? |

| ive seen a post on my local craigslist that had a common pleco, an oscar and a couple other 15 inchers stuck in a 20 gallon, i asked the dude what he was thinking and he said he had plenty of experience and those fish would thrive in that tank............. it amazes me how ignorant humans can be at times, poor fish, i hope someone with a large tank buys that stuff from that guy just to save it. *hint hint* ^^he has the right idea, haha^^
..........did anyone else notice the only source of filtration in that tank is an internal filter? talk about adding insult to injury eh? |

| Thats insane. You would think the water would be a lot more cloudy but he must have just changed it for the picture I imagine. There is just no way that little filter could keep up. |

| Wired, i rescued an oscar today i found on craigs list. I get on craigs list every so often and look around and come across an 12in oscar in a 20 gallon tank. I emailed her and told her to call me so she did. she told me where she lived was about an hr and 1/2 from me than we started talking and she said he has got holes in head from hitting the glass and i said hmm. Well i didnt say anything to her but was thinking in my head that hole in the head well i drove and got him after i got off work. When i got there she was the nicest lady ever and told me she wanted to buy a bigger tank but got her self in a hole with money. And than i asked how long you had him? 5 yrs in this 20 gallon tank he had him self all beat up. I took him home and got him in a 55 till he gets a little better than he will have a life time home in a 150gallon. But what some ppl do to fish is wrong. If i had room i would rescue every fish i see on there everyday, i just felt bad for tommy ( is his new name lol) and had to go get him.. well here is some pics i took tonight... |

| They want that much money for a 10g?
I also check out craigslist and my company's internal ads but generally it's just empty tanks for sale. |

| I gotta say though that Severum looked fairly healthy and the tank was clean. I'm not saying it's right, but it could be much worse. I hope someone gets him though because I don't know who's going to pay 95 dollars for a 10gallon setup. You can setup 3 for that. |

Unfortunately my largest tank is a 14 gallon currently divided for my bettas. My other tanks are a 10 gallon divided and 3 gallon tanks, all stocked with bettas. I don't really know anyone with a large tank. Everyone I know who keeps fish all keep bettas, so all of our tanks are small and fully stocked. |

| How bout this one?
For sale is 46 gallon bowfront Cherry Oak aquarium with stand and extras the whole set up up with atleast 20 cichlids that are 2-6 inches in length, an albino frog that is about the size of an adult fist, and two plecos one is 4 in and the other is 12 in. Asking 400 for the set up, the fish alone would cost way more than the $400 but you can make offers.
Also I have a 46 gallon bowfront black aquarium with stand, fish and extras. In this tank is 4 twelve inch Oscars, 1 10 in oscar, 1 8 in cichlid, 1 12 in pleco, and 1 8 in pleco. Everything you need to start your set up. Asking 400 for everything. |
