I finally got my new Raphael Catfish. He has been great, and its fun to see where he will go. He likes to dig in the sand and squeeze into ever nook and cranny. Being as how he love the night life, its always interesting to see where he will be in the morning. Well this morning I got up and found here:



Yup he got himself stuck in that bottle. I finally got him out by first draining all the water out of the bottle so that all his fins would lay flat against him. and then he could slide out.

So when I put the bottle back in I blocked the opening so that the smaller fish could still get in but he shouldn't.

Who would have thought he would get stuck in the bottle. Thank goodness you werre able to save him.

Hah, he looks like a little ship in a bottle!

He is about 5" long. When I got home I made him a cave for him out of some 4" drain pipe I had. This morning he was resting in there and not letting any of the other fishes in. But I think that my favorite thing about him is that he is a talking catfish. You can hear him grunting and croaking.
