I currently have a 20 gallon tropical tank and I'm doing some shopping around for a new, and bigger, tank. The pump on my current tank is just too noisy and I've been looking at different types of tank set ups to replace it. I think I have it narrowed it down to two types. One is the Ocianic Bio Tank, 29 gallon, and the other is one I hadn't heard of before called a Via Aqua AR-37T.

I've heard that the Bio Tanks are very quiet, which is a BIG plus for me as the tank is in the bedroom. As for tank size, I'd prefer the 37 gallon tank over the 29 gallon, but it will be the quietness that seals the deal.

Does anybody out there have a Via Aqua AR-37T, and can you tell me how quiet it really is. I've heard that the Bio Tank is supposed to come out in a 75gallon size, but does anyone know when that might be? And, how quiet is the Bio Tank, anyway?

I live in Australia... and over here we have a brand called Aqua One... a cheapy brand... They make 2 other brands called Via Aqua (your one) and Aquaworld, same tanks, different badge. I would compare them to Jebo. Not the best tanks... not sure about the noise though... sorry
