Hi,
I started a 60l tank the end of last year (now used as a quarantine tank) & have 2 other tanks 1 with 2 red bellied pirana in & the other 180l tank.
I noticed my white molly has a small red graze like mark on her belly. other than that she is swimming ok & eating. Today the graze is much biggerer, its like her scales are off & she is sore?
Then a guppy starting to shimmy, with his mouth stuck open, not moving. I put them both in the quarentine tank & my guppy just died. i noticed that too had a graze mark on his head.
please can anybody give me an idea of what this could be please?

Also, it would help if you could post a picture. The words "red marks" aren't really enough (for me, at least) to lead to a confident guess on what might be wrong.

An update..We treated the quarantine tank with Myxazin fin rot & bacteriafor 5 days, we lost a few more guppy, but the rest & the molly are now all doing, have now gone back into our main tank & all are happily reunited & healthy
