| Last night's Kelly Clarkson drama!
So last night I went with a friend to see Kelly Clarkson. I t was as expected, the huge voice, the classic songs, but about halfway through, I got a sore arm, then I got dizzy, fet very sick, couldn't hold myself up and couldn't see. I panicked and went to the bar for a glass of water. By this stage I couldn't stand and was leaning across the bar to hold myself up.
The girl serving went and got the medics, who then proceeded to help me out (oh the embarrassment!). I should say at this point, I was driving and so had nothing to drink, had all my meals that day and have no medical conditions and on no medication myself.
There were 2 medics, the man I was following out had a bright high-vis jacket on, but I couldn't see him. Because I couldn't walk, the woman behind had to hold me up. They took me to the first aid room to sit down. Within 5 mins, 2 other girls came in. One of them had actually fainted, the other had the same symptoms as me, none of us ever had this before.
I have never been so scared. Bonus is that a few people from work went too, so when we talked about it earlier, I did have the best story from the night before. Even though I missed most of the second half haha.
I htink I just got too hot. My friend said 10 mins after I got taken away, they switched the air con on. You could sense there was something in the air though, it was a bit smoky.
So guys -- beware if you're off to a concert and you can't sense the air con on... |
