Good morning.
Is anyone going to the winter Olympics in Canada? They start tomorrow night with the opening ceremonies. I'm excited just being able to watch them on NBC (as we just got network stations 2 weeks ago).

I've been a fan of Figure Skating Competitions since 1968 when Peggy Flemming won gold. So I'll be glued to the TV for the next two weeks. "Chef, hold all of my calls! Prepare me some treats!
It's the "thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" (WideWorld of Sports motto) that keeps me glued to the TV.

If anyone is going I hope you can share some photos with us.

I'm really looking forward to the figure skating too My husband loves the skiing, bobsleds, and a lot of the other stuff, so I'm sure we'll be watching a lot of it.

I hope Bode does well too. I really like to watch all of the winter Olympics and not just the skating segments. I'd love to ski jump! However, I don't need any broken bones. LOL

I was not impressed by the opening ceremonies at all this year. I know they had a lower budget but....wasn't good IMO. I'm more of a summer sports guy, but i'll watch some snowboarding.

Yea, other then the hockey and snow boarding, I'm a summer Olympics guy.

I watched the opening ceremonies - too bad they had some technical issues. It was okay, but not one of the better ceremonies.

Is it just me or does it seem that there's an awful lot of bad luck this year? No snow, bad luge course, mechanical failures, event delays, etc.
