| I Have An Issue!!!!! All you fish people are bad bad bad enablers, I started getting back into fish mostly for my kids benefit, and after coming on here and seeing all the cool fish and tanks and aqua scaping done by the members of this board I now have some kinda disease...Lemme explain I went from a 30 gallon FOWLR to a custom built one I made ,to a 45 gallon corner tank with a few Mollies to now around 50 Mollies and 2 Puffers , 10 gallon tank for QT a 55 gallon for discus and this afternoon or tomorrow Im picking up a 250 gallon and I have no clue what Imma put in it ,,, AND ITS YA`LLS FAULT Lol
Seriously tho I am enjoying reading and seeing what yall have and are doing with some of these tanks and fish
I wonder if I can get stingrays or even a Bamboo shark or two...hehehehe |

| You could possibly have an arrowana. I think they're compatible with sharks.
I hope you realize that pics are a must!
We started the same way you did-got fish for my daughter and then it escalated...and escalated...and escalated. |

| Yes you have fallen into the trap that has been laid out to catch unsuspecting fish newbies. After a 25 year absence from fishkeeping, I setup a 20 gallon which I thought would be to big. I found fishlore and am now up to a 30 gallon and have a 3 gallon betta tank (Normie my betta rescue) and am planning a 55 gallon in the near future. Once they have you there is no escape. |

| Muahahaha! It is a horrible thing I know. I've found myself, several times, wondering just how upset my hubby would be if I sold the couch to make space for a few larger tanks. He always says he would like to get an LCD tv for the bedroom so I figure with no couch there would be no reason to have a tv in the living room and we can move the LCD to the bedroom. (And give me yet another bare space in the living room.) |

| in a 250 gal tank i would think.....150 neons and about 4 rams should do it...lol ....congrats on the tank and sorry for your illness. The I can't stop the madness is hard to over come lol ..jmho
oh if the neons dont work for you ... it would make a nice betta bowl... Last edited by Goldwing_Don; February 10th, 2010 at 05:36 PM.

| One Betta huh lol not much bang for the buck there lol
I am thinking maybe some Angels and as suggested some Tetras of some sort, I still gotta a hankering to get back into Oscars.
Sharks are out due to their size, even the Bamboo or Cat sharks get to big in my opinion and I figure it would be like me sitting in the tub all day everyday...
I`ll post some pics soon as I get things rolling, got a busy few days ahead as I just finally start a new job today after a ton of tests and 5 interviews for the same job, so Im feeling kinda on top of the world woohoooo, started out with over 100 people applying for 2 jobs and I landed one... |

| Well I picked up the tank last night turns out its a 150 gal, annd the top rim is cracked, I got it for less than half what they lady wanted because it wasnt in excellent condition nor the size she stated in her posting,I hate to be such a stickler like that but I drove an hour to get it
Im now in the search for some pieces of glass about 6 inches wide and 4 feet long so I can put some euro bracing in it and some help to get it out of the truck and in the house lol |
