So I go to my LFS (amazing fish store called Aquarium Concepts) and find a tank with horned nerites. However, there are only two left . Even though they're only 1/3 of an inch long, they hava mazing algae eating skills. Scoured one corner of the tank in a matter of 4 hours! I'd like to have a whole army of them, like about 15, but they're too rare to buy in bulk.

I highly recommend them to any fish keeper! Much prettier than olive nerites, too.

I just got some small about 1/3" black snails with four spikes on thier backs. would those be the Horned Nerite Snails? I forgot to ask the lady when I baught them. I live in Japan and the tank just said snails. I know they are not apple snails, that is what I would normally get but I wanted something new for my new tank.
