Been a little while!

Been quite a while since I have had any posts here. Fortunately its because things have been going well fish wise. I will try to get a new video of my planted tank up later today. I have so much growth that I am literally removing handfuls of plant matter weekly. On top of that, not a single fish death since one of my neons got pulled into the filter his first day in the tank (maybe 2 months ago?). It is an extremely happy tank. The fish absolutely love the dense plants and spend a lot of time in cover. The pleco has its own little driftwood cave that it hangs out in all the time. Every morning I get to see the rainbows and their color changing courting antics.

That 38g tank now has
7 neon tetra
5 pristella tetra
5 Boesemani Rainbow
4 long finned albino cory
1 Siamese Algae Eater
1 Clown Pleco

My other tank (20g) has for while only contained my single female Golden Wonder Panchax and my bamboo shrimp. Just yesterday I found a her a strapping young male Golden Wonder Panchax with great color, although she has a good 3/4 an inch on him. To fill out the tank on the bottom, I got a single Pictus Catfish. That makes 3 predatory fish for that tank, food is gone VERY fast. I have been able to propogate plants from my planted tank to this tank. They stop growing as fast as they do under the fertilizer/CO2/lighting, but they seem to survive pretty well. Pics to come later!
