Today has not been a good day. First as soon as I wake up I pleasantly find my tank temp. is 89.9 degrees. The other day it jumped to 83 degrees F so I turned my heater down to to 75. Overnight the heater blew out. When I took it out of the tank it was so hot I burnt my top layer of skin. I am about to go get a new one now. It's currently 79 degrees F right now so I'm not worried about the temp.

Next, I come home from school to find my phone's touchscreen is totally unresponsive. That's broke too. I have to be sent a new LG Xenon via mail.

On a brighter side my betta tank is doing fine. But the 3 shrimp died because the seeding didn't work (?) and the ammonia raised and I hadn't caught it until it was at 4 PPM. I had to start the whole cycle manually. I am currently doing 15-20% WC per day with Prime. The Betta is fine though. I have a feeling after going through 2 horrible cycles he isn't gonna be much of a tough trooper anymore.

Well, things aren't getting better. Atleast this time it wasn't something of mine. My dad's projection TV's bulb blew out. So he ordered a new one. Instead of brightining the picture it made it darker. Oh and the TV is only 2-3 years old. The bulb was about 300-400 $. All that money down the drain. He's currently buying a new LCD 55" Vizio at Wal-Mart.

OMG. During the transaction to buy the TV with a credit card, the company labled the card as "Suspicious". It's completely frozen. Someone stole my dads credit card number!!!

UPDATE: Actually, someone didn't steal my dads credit card number. Since he went to get gas and then made a large purchase they froze it because he had his number stolen before and those were the to most common purchases.

If a new bulb made the tv darker than obviously something is wrong. Did you troubleshoot the new bulb or reset the tv to factory settings?

I got a rear projection HDtv from 2005 and so far my bulb is doing alright. I do dread the replacement cost.
