Florida Fish Farm...major losses

Here is a link you may find interesting...heart breaking. No photos involved. Scroll down a ways to 100,000 fish lost.

So sad. I can only imagine how the owners must be feeling.

I've been reading about fish swimming near the water output of nuclear power plants (no radiation involved, it's just hot water that was used to cool the equipment) because the water temp has dropped so much. There have been cases of iguana and other reptiles literally raining out of trees because they were stunned by the cold. Not a good time for Florida's native animals, either.

That is heartbreaking. I didn't realize there were two deaths here in GA due to children playing on ice, either. That's even worse.

Ugh... It's awful when it happens up here, and despite the fact that there's no limit to the amount of pain it causes, it must be even worse in the south, where parents shouldn't have to explain that kind of thing (much like MN parents don't really have to explain to their kids not to check out snakes. If it doesn't rattle in MN, it's not dangerous).
