Culligan Kiosk

Anyone know if the Culligan water kiosks found at Walmart contain DI water? I read the information at the booth and it said it's filtered mechanically and through RO, but said nothing about the DI portion.

I'm sure if it doesn't say DI then its not DI filtered..but RO is "pure water" should be good for anything you want to use it for...jmho....

It's for a SW tank I'm currently collecting pieces for. Reef sites say DI needs to be used, so guess I'll keep looking for another convenient place for water until I get a RO/DI filter for the house.

Thanks

Good luck in your search. I've used RO only for 20 years and works great for me.jmho

I bought water from the machine at Walmart and Meijer when I first started in SW because I didn't have an RO/DI and my tank was a nano. It worked fine for me, although I guess there's no way to know for sure how often they change out the cartridges. A TDS meter is cheap and would tell you how suitable the water is.

I used the Culligans water for a year from walmart for my SW without any problems.

I wondered how often they changed the cartridges but somewhere on them there should be a sticker saying when they were serviced and when the next service is due.

Honda Shadow Spirit 750, it's small but it's my first bike. Hopefully be able to upgrade in another year or two. Riding is the only thing I like more than fish
