Well my family is planning to build a house in a few years. As my room will be built from scratch i asked if i could have a built in tank (in the wall) and they said sure. My question is if i could build 3 of the sides and the bottom out of concrete and the front part of acrilic, would it leak? i would seal the acrilic with some sort of sillicone... we're talking about a couple hundred gallons Hopefully LOL it would be an african tank, as i want one really bad LOL

is it possible? I saw a while back a video of Monsterfish they built like a whole tank with glass on one side and concrete on the other....

For a couple hundred gallons Tony you don't need concrete.

Look at plywood tanks, they are great and also lite.

LOL the reason i meant concrete is because the house will be made out of concrete. I will look into plywood tanks, but wont they leak over time?
