Sad Trip to Walmart.

I was in walmart today with mom, grocery shopping. My mom felt like buying fish (not live ones, but the kind we eat LOL) and i was just glancing at the fish they had (the full bodied ones with heads and everything)...

Boy was i surpriesed when i saw they had ID sharks... for sale... literally... i blinked... blinked twice and stared in aw as i saw them... I didnt know they were eatable....

Kinda creepy though... they were like 1ft and a half....

just felt like sharing...

You sure it was an Iridescent Shark Tony?
Not saying it wasn't but Southeast Asia to Mexico is a long ways to ship fresh fish.
Unless someone in Mexico is breeding them for food purposes Theres an idea for your next breeding project.....

I love tilapia. If I ever have a big enough area, I would love to have two ponds - one for my goldies and one for game fish. Tilapia actually do quite well in our climate.

Trout only do well in the winter - it gets too hot in the summer. Bass and Tilapia are fine year round. And of course catfish, bluegill, sunfish, etc.
