Enablers you all! (me included)

Yesterday I saw a poll on how many Bettas owned. I answered 10+ since I had, at that moment 13. Guess what? Today it's 14.

Went to the LFS and brought home this beautiful White Dragon betta juvenile male (at least that's how they labeled him). The most expensive Betta I've paid for (28USD) I couldn't resist, he is so beautiful!

I temporarily placed him one of my (cycled) small quarantine tanks (2gal), placed a Java Fern and a rhyzome of Anbuias Barteri with only one leaf (almost totally destroyed by the naughty Tiger Oscar female).

I am considering purchasing a rimless, topless, glass cube tank I saw at another LFS. Extremely low light plants, natural river sand mixed with enriched substrate and a small filter (I keep lots of seeded sponge and bio-ceramics).

Likely going to place it in my desk at my home-office (tank room to be precise).

PS pics later, I don't want to stress him more than he is already with the handling and transportation home.

Sorry pepetj! I created the evil poll... but another betta got a new home out of it! Congrats on the new addition. I can't wait for pics!

Congrats on the new boy! Just a warning about the topless tank... I had my boy Kawaii jump out of a tiny gap in the back of my tank while I was gone last weekend. I would be afraid that a betta would jump out of the tank if you didn't have a lid. The rimless tanks are very cool though

Introducing... Jimmy Boy!

Here are two pics of Jimmy Boy, my newly adquired White Dragon Finned (no idea of tail type, his looks damaged) male Betta. He is in a quarantine tank (2gal) at the moment.

Of course I'm keeping him. He got my heart the moment our paths crossed.
