I haven't been on for a while, and when I logged on this morning I noticed a thread from Angela regarding some pretty personal marriage issues (among others). It isn't the first time I've noticed people reaching out on here, and i just wanted to say how impressed I am that one; people feel comfortable and safe enough to discuss personal stuff, and two; everybody's responses are so caring and full of such good advice and observations.
This forum has impressed me constantly with great advice on our fishkeeping hobby, but also with obvious and genuine caring for each other. It is definately a family of sorts, and a very loving, supportive one at that. I haven't reached out for support or advice on personal issues as yet, but i find myself in the unusual position of feeling comfortable enough to do so if I felt the need. I say unusual because I am a very private person, and find it very hard to reach out for help.
I know I've raved on a bit, but I'm just so touched by all of you guys. Such an amazing forum. Such a beautiful group of people. I just wanted to tell you all how much I respect you and how each and every one of you has touched my heart in some way. I feel truly lucky to be a part of this group.

Whether someone is looking for help, suggestions or a friendly ear our FishLore family is right there.

Have any of the forum members ever done a get together or anything? BBQ? ( I have always wanted to use that smiley!)

Hello Scatty. Nice to see your text as always. That was a very nice post and greatly appreciated.
I'm very fortunate to be a part of Fish Lore. It's helped me in so many ways over the past few months, not just help for my "fish life" but my personal life as well. I've learned a lot and plan to learn much more! I'm and old dog with new tricks

This forum is filled with awesome people! I personally have been blessed to make many new friends, get great advice in fishkeeping, and had a shoulder to cry on when things get rough.

Fishlore is awesome and I consider it a huge honor to be a part of it. Love to all
