Please be safe..pics here now too

Everyone living in flood areas on the east coast, please be safe today!!!

We have 2 hours to high tide and it (the chesapeake bay) is already getting into the road. We live on the western side of the bay, and are getting full force of wind since it is coming from the east.

Would love to send some pics but the wind is blowing rain into the camera lense when it try....maybe later!!!

I absolutly love this weather, we are having a nor'easter today. what's the cycle of the moon right now, do you know?
Best part is that the beaches will have lots of goodies when it's over.
Ted, you be safe as well

We had rain here in SC on and off all day yesterday from the storm. It's cold 55 degrees and gloomy here today. We didn't get the worst of it though.
Take care everyone!

none stop rain....winds 25 -35 and can gust to 50. Water getting deeper in road.

Yes great goodies and driftwood...is cool if no damage to anyone.

We are approaching hi tide here on the bay....so it wont be too extreme.

We live just a few feet above sea lvl.....if we get 4 foot + storm tides and 6 foot+ waves it is over the road, and in our yards.

Ted, today we're gonna get it. The wind changed overnight, I can hear it on the opposite side of the house from yesterday (was a north wind yesterday-sounds west right now). High tide right now so not gonna see it--way too early in the a.m. to get out there, still dark out. But the next one, I'll be out.
I was planning on going to dinner (have to take ferry to town to do this). depending on the tides, I might not be able to go.

Learn to live with the earth.....not always take with no return. Our earth is basically self sustaining but we are throwing it out of balance. Storms like this are just mom cleaning the house!! I can't complain about it too bad...we are the trangressors. Our community is slowly going away because of storms....it is ok with me. I love the chance to be here but when our time is up I will move with unbelievable memorys forever.

Hello Ted. Great photos! Thanks for sharing.
"2012" Movie comes out in theaters today. I'll be waiting for it to come out on DVD. (in reference to what we're doing to the planet is why I said this) We won't be here forever
