| Tank, tank, tank, tank! You don't need a TV that big. PLUS, with a tank, you don't have re-runs New programming every minute. |

| In case I do go with the tank, do you guys know any place to buy one for cheap other than craigslist? |

| Hey how about a compromise? A smaller tank and a smaller TV, bet of both worlds. |

Also, the classifieds in the local paper sometimes turns up some good deals. And let's not forget, garage/estate sales!
Hope this helps! |

| I don't want to go smaller but thanks for the Idea! I have a 32" hdtv already but thinking of purchasing another one b/c this one turns off randomly but I can always turn it back on. It just gets aggravating especially when watching a sports game. Last edited by eiginh; October 13th, 2009 at 01:55 PM.

| Too easy! Big tank now, then wait another 12 -18 months, big TV's will be half the price they are now! |

(also my vote is for the tank, but I'm a university student and don't have much time for tv anyway ) |

| Oooh! That's nice. And I'm gonna go with the tank too. Life's reasoning was unarguable if you ask me, Tank now, TV later. |

| Ill go against the trend since I am a home theater fan as well. TV and then if you dont have the good surround that should come next. After that the fish can watch Finding Nemo with you in style! LOL |

| I agree with Nate McFin. I would definately go with the TV. There are some dvds were you can have a virtual tank on the tv. (but most members would disagree that a real tank is much better) |

| I'd go for the tank. All TV's will show you the same things, but think how many new options you'd have with 100 gallons! |

| i'm also for the tank. It won't lose value nearly as fast.
Besides, a big expensive TV doesn't make the shows better...you just spend more money to watch them ;-D
I guess it depends on how much you actually watch TV though. I watch maybe an hour a month (yes, "month". not a typo.) I use my TV mostly for movies. I see absolutely no need to upgrade from my 27" standard definition...like i said, 1080P doesn't make the movies better, just more expensive. |

| hmmm decisions decisions....pondering..... .I think I have to vote for the 125g (I went a bit larger) tank. TV's will go on sale during or after the Holidays. Yeah...that's it! lol
Let us know what you decide.

| My co-workers say buy the TV but they're not into fish! I also like watching movies and play with my xbox360 to relax when I'm not busy with college and work. Since I really can't afford to go out and party every weekend that's my other alternative. Hmmm decisions decisions!!! |
