New tank???

Hello Everyone,

I would like your opinions and suggestions. Here's my story:

I have a 20 gal tank with adult and adolescent Long Finned Zebra Danios (about 16). Plus there are fry in there. I am considering getting another tank to put the fry in. I would keep the fry in that tank because I do not want to move them to the 20 gal tank and then overload it. There is a space issue for the new tank though.

Shoot away - I'd love to hear your ideas!

Hmmmm - it was clear as glass when I typed it out

I suppose I am asking how one would handle that delimma. The new tank would be for the fry. What size tank for the fry? Would one keep the fry in the "new" tank when they are grown or handle it differently? I'm just asking for different views on the subject I guess.

Hope that is a bit clearer....

20g are great grow out tanks..with sponge filters and bare bottoms to keep everything prestine ...eventually they will out grow that as they bred so easily ...so swapping with your LFS for pet food and supplies is great, offering them on craigslist is great, but eventually, you will have to either get a ton of tanks or share the babies ...
