Two suspicious bags

Two bags were found on the other side of the block of where I work *Santa Monica). They blocked off the streets and an hour later *BOOM* and another 5 min. *BOOM* The bomb squad robot set them off. That was intense lol. Not sure if you guys seen the movie "The Hurt Locker" but it kind of reminded me of a scene from that movie. Now one question, should I ask HR dept if I can go home?

NVM we just got a all dept e-mail from the HR SVP "As many of you already know, there is a reported suspicious package on Wilshire Blvd near 6th/7th which has resulted in the Santa Monica Police Department closing Wilshire. I have personally spoken to a SM Police Officer at the corner of Wilshire and 4th and have been assured that at this time there is no need to evacuate the 401 Building. Obviously we are all concerned, and are monitoring the situation. I have given my name and direct number to the police officer to facilitate communication as needed. "

Darnit!

Huh. I'm surprised. It must have been obvious that the bombs were small or they likely wouldn't have taken any chances.
Glad they were found and glad nobody was hurt.
