Good buy?

I was on Craig's List and found a 55 gallon tank for $50 . It is the tank only. Would this be a good deal? Here is the link: http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/for/1368096432.html

It's an okay deal, but the tank's usually the cheap part. I've seen a 55g plus stand (the expensive part) for $50 several times.

Oh so would I be better off getting it from the LFS? I don't need a stand, I have a huge solid wood dresser.

If it were me, I'd probably pay the little bit extra and get it from the pet store.

well you can always try ebay i have seen so demo end of model for sell there from the manufacturer for REALLY cheap. you never know.
