WOW Moment

Most of my fish, I got when they were babies anywhere from a few months ago to a few weeks ago.

I was watching my tanks the other day and something hit me...

These guys have grown, some have grown alot in just a few months.

It was just an amazing moment for me that I wanted to share. A lot of us get our fish when they're babies or from poor conditions and it's just amazing to see how much they change over time.

If you get the chance over the next few days or so, just sit and watch. I think you'll be amazed at the changes in your tanks, too. It's a peaceful and wonderful feeling to realize how happy and healthy the fish are because of the love and care we give them.

It's a great feeling isn't it?
Those of us with bettas know that feeling very well. Many of our babies are cup babies. It's very rewarding to watch their personalities emerge and color up when given the proper care.

Hi bolivianbaby & Lucy,

You are right - due to us, they are living a great life and by growing up they've shown it. I have some baby Danios in my tank and they are almost as big as the adults and I can remember when they looked like eyelashes with two black eyes!!! It's an amazing thing to be a part of.....

It is amazing to watch. I have two different batches of guppy fry. The first batch is almost 2 months and are starting to show such beautiful colors. The new batch were born last week and they are noticabily bolder than the previous batch. They dont even hide.

Yep, my cons, George the JD and my pristella tetras are what started the whole "WOW" thing.

i know the feeling i love it when you take before and after picture. I find that if you have a planted tank it shows even more just cause of how much more room the plants will take over time. Plus its that much more play room for our fishy

I love to watch my fry grow and develop, my guppy fry get more and more colorful and it's so much fun to guess who is mother and who is father
