| High of 61ºF with a flash flood warning!
Forecast calls for 2-4" of rainfall over much of the area today and tonight, with some areas exceeding 5". edit: oh, flash flood watch, not warning. Still, it's going to be wet Last edited by mathas; October 8th, 2009 at 09:10 AM.

| Woah. Stay safe, mathas! Those flash floods hit our parts a couple years ago - half our town was under water. Crazy stuff.
Chilly and wet in Iowa. Typical fall. |

| We're enjoying sunny weather for the first time all week here in GA, USA
Once my water changes are done, me and the dogs are going to the dog park so they can run off some of that "rainy weather" energy. |

| They are predicting a high of 90 with a 30% chance of rain. Of course, tomorrow is a high of 68 with an 80-90% chance of rain. As far as I can tell, warm or cold, all it does is rain out here!
Oh, it's 77 right now and muggy. |

| A beautiful sunny slightly breezy day here with temps in the 80's. We had a bit of clouds and a sprinkle or two yesterday, but clear as a bell today. Here are some pics of yesterday's "storm" clouds. |

| You're mean gremlin...
The snow is no longer melting on contact with the ground and I think we're up to an inch at least now... The temp is hanging around where the snow is really heavy and wet but cold enough that there's just the tiniest bit of ice on the streets...
I hate the start of winter... |

I hate the start of winter... | I'll trade ya - I would love it if it would rain here. We just had the dryest monsoon on record. We need the rain (and I wouldn't mind snow...). |

| Right now it's 48. Tonight...mostly cloudy. Patchy fog and periods of drizzle late. Lows around 43 with some light winds....basically normal October weather or it could be just down pooring all day and all day the next if it wants.
Friday is calling for mostly cloudy, patchy fog and periods of drizzle in the morning. Highs around 53. |
