Argh! I love Halloween but we now live in a gated apartment complex, so no one comes for treats. I decorated last year, but I felt kinda pathetic, lol.

I'm hoping I can steal my nieces and take them trick-or-treating. I'll probably go as a vampire bride or a zombie....

my mom is pretty good with the sowing machine, so will come up with something
call us crazy, but last year we went trick or treating in an apartment complex lol
the funny thing is we actually got candy from the people hahaha

you should totally decorate! there´s no reason why you should be like everyone else!

I know im going to a partty with the theme "EVIL" not sure at all what im going to go has....it just needs to be evil. I am going to be the grizwald of halloween decoration (thank to my loving wife...) did you guys know they actually sell playdough in small halloween pack to give along with the candy? But giving candy to little kids is going o be fun!!

I havent decided on my costume yet. I think I'm getting a little old for trick or treating... I was Audrey Hepburn last year. It was pretty cool.

you are NEVER too old to go trick or treating! and who said you cant dress up? you can dress up when you give candy to the kids!

actually, sadly, that IS what i have dressed up as whenever there's a year when i don't know what to be. i just slip on jeans, a t-shirt, and go outside. i bet im the only person on earth who has dressed up as themselves. sure, peoiple dont wear costumes sometimes, but when i do it, i consider it dressing up as myself - the asian kid.

ha! i took my cavalier king charles spaniel once ~ dressed him as a pumpkin.
i insisted to my mom that i HAD to make the costume myself, so i did ~ but it turned out horrible. he looked more like the Delusional Neon Pumpkin of New York. the funniest part was when my mom kept saying that he'd be run over and stuck a glowing green sticker on the back of his costume so people could see him better. as if they couldn't already. like i said, neon orange.

I agree with both parts of this. Now I just steal my younger cousins and nieces so that it doesn't look to weird for someone my age to be out and about.

And I always do DIY constumes. Waaaaaaaaaaay cheaper and so much fun to make. I'm leaning towards going as a zombie and making the rotting flesh out of oatmeal/flour/water/green and red food coloring (some parts need to rot others all bloody gross). I did a sample attempt and it dries up awesome looking. (You can also do this for fake puke outside your haunted house & it cleans easy.)

An added bonus is oatmeal is great for the skin!
