Aawww, thank you! PlecoPrincess and I are in good shape. We had our first day of sun today in almost a week. I've been keeping an eye on here and Facebook to make sure some GA co-members log in so we know they're safe

I was really getting scared that we'd have to build an ark. I'd hate to have to pick only two of each species to keep. I'd be sneaking a few extra fish in and I know I'm not the only one

Hi BB, glad to hear you and the Princess are safe.
I saw the news this morning and it looks terrible down there.

Northwest Ga also had a rough few days. The Grandkids school in Walker county have been closed for two or three days. One of the shopping centers(in Lafayette Ga) flooded and had some water damage and Freds in the same shopping center had the roof collapse. This is right up the street from youngest daughter. Grandson posted pics on Facebook of him wading in the flooded playground near them(with a fishing rod in hand LOL). So far all are well.

Best wishes. Our creek is really up (it's tidal) and we haven't had a drop of rain in 10 days. It's low tide now and the creek is already in the yard. I can only imagine what it must be like in GA.

There has been some major flooding in GA Navy. It's been raining there for days. I saw I 75 flooded in spots this morning while watching the news.

Oh mine. I don't watch news any longer my tv is always on Noggin. I knew it was raining BB told me on Saturday but didn't think it was that bad. If there's something anyone needs just let me know.

I didn't know Walker county schools closed. Wow, this stuff is everywhere. One of my co-workers hasn't been able to come to work for two days because her area is flooded and a tree has been blocking the road.

Oh, dear, please keep us posted.

If it does flood, you and Chef and the cat and the dogs should be safe in your tank. I don't think the floodwaters could reach the top

Thanks to everyone for your support! I hope our southeast members jump on this thread and let us all know they're okay.

lol Thanks BB. I think we'll be ok. If we had gotten any rain at all I think we could have had a flooded front yard for certain. Never seen it this high with no rain in my area.
Stay safe everyone!

I actually see some sun out there today and did for a while yesterday. They are calling for more rain today though. Tommy had to go to Atlanta yesterday and it took 8 hours to get there and back, it is normally about an hour and a half from us if you go slow. There are loads of schools closed and businesses, I 75 and 285 were opened back up last night but I 20 was still closed until the water went down for DOT to check it out for safety. For all the people with losses you are in our prayers.
