So Fascinating!

This is actually about right brain/left brain.

if you see her spinning clockwise, you're right brained. It's weird because for me she spins clockwise until i start reading, then it flips...but it flips back as soon as i stop reading!

http://www.web-us.com/brain/LRBrain.html

take the quiz and read the text...it's pretty amazing. It explains the difficulties of right-brained students in school.

I love the tid-bit about how a right-dominant person will write a paper and then outline it, despite being told to outline and then write.

Outlining first never made sense to me, how can you define the parts without the whole?

Oh!!! I've done this before and successfully use two sides of my brains to make the girl spin both ways It's so cool!

Hehe
my brain flips back and forth pretty easy but it's definetly harder to switch from right to left then left to right.
Right Brain here.

EDIT: Just read through the link and.... yeh so right brain dominant it isn't even funny.

feel like some guy holding a clipboard was following you around school? Creeped my out, lawlz

School is so set up for left-brained people it's not even funny.

BTW: This page let me know why I can do math problems, but fail miserably whenever there's a proof thrown my way. Proofs don't have context, so I can't wrap my brain around them, haha.

I don't buy the video thing (or my mind just doesn't work right). I watched several of the videos, and each video I can only see in one way, but some tell me I'm thinking with my right brain and some tell me I'm thinking with my left.

As I expected, the test came up heavily right-brained.

For the video what worked for me was watch it. Then close your eyes and picture the leg turning the other way even sort of moving your eyes behind your lids like you're helping push it around then open them again. That's pretty much the only way I could force it to switch.

School set up for left brained people... maybe a bit. The sciences are especially hard. However I find that after awhile I've finally discovered a way to study that suits me... if they TAUGHT that then the way they teach wouldn't be nearly so tough.

It wasn't even a matter of switching it. It was that each video showed up only one way for me, but it wasn't all "right brain" or "left brain." I think it's just an optical illusion that happens to look one way to some people and the other to others. Some can force it to change (which I think says more about the brain than the way that it appears to turn).

When I first looked at her she was going counter clockwise but I can change which way I see her going very easy...Very neat though!!!...Kinda crazy.

Edit:
Just read the link..THat is soooo funny..I'm def a left brained person..The first thing it talked about was list...If you even knew how many list I make and remake and follow each day you'd laugh..lol..I even have a daily, weekly and monthly schedule. LOL..It's good to know I'm this way for a reason not just because I'm anal or as hubby says "crazy"..

It's definitely not concrete or definitive, but it's just something fun to catch your attention. It's the appetizer, if you will.

The real meat is the website I linked too. Every last bit is delicious.

Again, it's not a definitive explanation of brain function and personality...but it certainly has a lot of merit. It was right on for me (right brained) and right on for my wife (left brained).

Yes, I driver her crazy when I'm cleaning the place up. She likes to do one thing, pick up the clutter, and then move onto something else, dusting, and so on.

I, however, clean randomly...like a roomba. For 2 or 3 hours nothing will change, and then it will suddenly coalesce and the whole place is clean at once.
