Ive lost an amazing angel and baby bn's this week...still no clue what happened and have been banging my head day/nite ... anyone else's fish acting like noobs with the season changes?

then I get home last night and my daughter and the bf have one of our dog in time out...she went pp on the floor in my daughters room...now mind you this is a rottie (not small pee piles) whose 7 years old and NEVER gone in the house...so I said shes having a bad week too!! (it was late when I got home so I just went to bed after hugging her secretly ) I get up this am to feed all my critters and poof...my betta tank in my daughters room is about half empty!!!!!! (pooooor dog got blaimed!!!) my daughter had set a heavy water bottle on top of the tank which in turn moved the cover back bearing on the filter..which in turn tipped the filter upwards and allowed water to just poor out of the back of the tank! DOH!!!!!!

now im off to work and so nervous about some NEW fish babies im getting from cesh!! (ty so much..it really is going to make my week much better) but they wont be here till tomorrow..I ship fish and receive them and it no different..you just worry!!..fishy prayers and tracking nutso mama on the way!

I hope everyone elses week is better..because my September(9 letters) 9-9-09 wednesday(9 letters) didnt go so well for this house! Have a faboo day!

<hugs> Sounds like a rough day. RIP angel girl and poor rottie and betta. So far so good for bizare seasonal fish problems here.

Awww, jeeze, I'm sorry you had such a rough start to the day! We all really appreciate the extra time you (and all the mods) spend on the forum helping us all out, and I know you must be even more appreciate at the homestead. I hope you come home feeling better!

we just left a full moon and yes, I do believe the weather does affect the fish's behavior. I was watching my JDs yesterday and the disruption in the 125 (due to heathcliff and Rosie's eggs in the pot) but really felt the weather is affecting them all.
Im so sorry to hear you lost your Angel. When I lost mine I was devestated, I had it for just about 3 yrs and it broke my heart to find it floating.
dogs.. well... lol.. they do what they do! lol.... sometimes.. not where they are supposed to! jeesh.. not funny, I just went through almost the same thing a day ago, but it wasnt pp. ooooo yuck!

people around here think im nuts about a fish..but Im sure we ALL are use to that response when we loose one so close...still no clues on what has happened and wondering if I ever will

hard part now and figureing what to do with my petey boy...anyone that has angels, knows that when they bond, its a tight one....one thats hard to explain but hes showing major depression...(weird I know but fish do show it ) so im in a tail spin on getting him another mate before knowing what the heck happened or loose him to stress ...not to mention, who knows if he will accept another gal...I will admit I was looking today for a nice gal but couldnt do it yet...

im still hoping to get some more bn's as I just adore them creatures...time will tell....

I'm so sorry Shawnie!!!!. You have had a hard week, I'm really hoping things start to turn around. ...I really really really hope the babies make it to you safe and sound I'm a nervous wreck also (my first time shipping) I'm actually kinda freaking....lol...I just hope it's a happy package for ya and not another bad ending..... It def is the weather my little frosty girl in one day went from eating and dancing to bad.

I have ALL the faith in you and your babies cesch!! and they will make my week for sure...i havent slept much since you shipped them yesterday and I check on them every hour haha....then find out they only update the site at nite grr..darn post office ....and again im sorry for your lil frosty..may they all be enjoying that special bridge with rom!

Videos of babies and even more babies ive been up since 2 am tracking them LOL ..they are in nh now tho!!!! and my mail is anywhere between 11-1 grrrrr

I was thinking of getting some to breed for around here...they are not a common fish in this area at all! But I have my hands full with the Cons & Oscars now. lol
