Why I Like Bucket Changes...Oh, Shawnie

I was able to move a full filing cabinet by myself. I'm 5'3" and weigh 130 pounds, so I had to show the before and after pics.

Shawnie, this is what I meant when I said I like the bucket water changes because they keep me in shape. The empty space is where the "con" tank is going. No, the princess was not allowed to help move. Too much of a chance of her getting hurt. She was on "911" telephone duty in case of a problem

Oh my goodness! Congrats on the heavy lifting, lol Bucket changes really do keep your arms in shape though! I had to do some yesterday for the first time in months and I was dying, lol!

That reminds me of when I decided to re-arrange the bedroom by myself when my husband was at work. I didn't really factor how heavy dressers with 29 gallon tanks on them were into the equation... I'm surprised I actually somehow managed to do it.

Is the con tank set up already, or is it going to be a new tank?

The temporary tank (29 gallons) is up and running. I'm getting their final 55 gallon home tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure they could be immediately housed just in case it takes me longer than anticipated to get the 55 up and running

Wow, please tell me you took out some of the water first? That's the only way I can ever THINK about moving tanks. Water is so light in a glass, but it GETS HEAVY in tanks. I wonder why

After seeing that video, I'm glad I got them a "Ruined Roman Empire" thing that I saw in yours! They're gonna need the exercise. I'll have to teach them "Peek-a-Boo". Karma plays it . Maybe that'll help wear em out!
