Hi guys I need someone to do a sort of experiment for me.

Test a cup full of tap water for pH, GH, kh. Run it through a brita filter and re-test to see if any of the parameters change. I don't own a Brita Filter or else I'd try this myself. SOF's thread on Brita filter's didn't report the gh and kh values.

Lol. This sounds fun! I'm gonna go do it right now. FYI if you are using this for aquarium purposes, I just want to warn you that your tap water may be quite different than mine, so don't use my results for your tank. If this is just for fun, than awesome! I'll be right back....lol

The Kh was the same for both.
