Ahh, to live in the country...

I do love living where I live. I've lived here since I was born and it's beautiful. My bedroom faces east overlooking my back garden and a massive field, leading onto the main road out of here, lined with MAHOOOSIVE horse chestnuts. And now there are loads of amazingly sweet bats flapping their wings about in a very batty nature. I can't give you photos right now because the flash won't work hanging out of a window as night sets in. It's only ten to ten! Ooh, and another one just flew past my window.

No real rason, I just thought I'd share my love of where I live, anyone else enjoying their current abode?

Hmmph, it's just started raining now <-- 'cause there's bats?

I have more run in's with trees then I do with people!!! Our city is known as Tree City U.S.A. My house sits on a hill over looking Lake Superior in the upper peninsula of Michigan. We are known as Yoopers! Today it's a breezy, 70 degrees with total sunshine!
From my window I can see sail boats galore! I'm sure their getting one heck of a ride cause I can see white caps also
If ya'll are interested here's a link to my home town. www.mqtcty.org
If anyone else has a home town link I'd love to visit!!!

It's 90 degrees here on my creek bank. I watched my turtle (seems to be a regular now I'm going to have to name it) come out of the creek and into the yard. He sun baths a few hours and swims away. He's been coming for about 2 weeks now. I have pictures of him on film and will post later in the week. I love it here! I'm surrounded by 70' pines, maples, woods.
