My group of Melachromis Johanni came today along with my metriclima estherae "o" 's..

In one bag of johanni the male was the only survivor... something tells me with the wounds on the fish, he killed his bag mates.

Luckily though even with the fish loss I have 8 johanni, and it looks to be only 1 male... Hes going to be a happy boy!

The Met esthare are fine, they look like mini me's of my "pearl"... Now I have 1 male and 3 females of that group (pink mbuna fry hopefully!)

I'll try to post pics tomm or saturday, they all seem shell shocked right now, I caught the johanni takign peeks at me when I was away from their tank. Before long they will figure out I am the Queen food lady and waterchange girl of the house!

My 3 year old digging at their bags didn't help, he actually went after one of the dead ones crying over it. He can't stand to see a dead fish, I almost went off at a LFS for having a dead fish in the tank and making me cringe and my 3 year old crying. Ive raised a fish man what can I say lol
